Abstract

Systems and methods for improving color accuracy and uniformity in LED illumination systems are disclosed including light engines and switching circuits for controlling the addition or subtraction of light from one or more color light sources of the light engines to produce light of a uniform and consistent color. Systems and methods of providing LED light engines and associated illumination spectrums that are both visually appealing and rich in melanopic flux are also disclosed.

Systems and methods for improving color accuracy and uniformity in LED illumination systems are disclosed including light engines, switching circuits and methods of adding phosphors or lumiphoric materials for controlling the addition or subtraction of light from one or more color light sources of the light engines to produce light of a uniform and consistent color. Systems and methods of providing LED light engines and associated illumination spectrums that are both visually appealing, rich in melanopic flux and that reduce blue light hazard exposure are also disclosed.

Abstract

Systems and methods for limiting inrush current spikes in multi-load systems are disclosed. Inrush current limiting modules according to some embodiments comprise programmable microcontrollers and logic activated switches that connect loads to main power in a staggered and non-simultaneous manner thereby limiting inrush current spikes. Applications include agricultural grow systems employing multiple grow light fixtures and other high power and multiple load systems. Programmable logic controlled switching mechanisms operating under reserve power and integrated into power supplies are also disclosed.

Abstract

Luminaries, fixtures, systems and methods of providing both spectrally and spatially targeted illumination are disclosed. Intelligent lighting systems with programmable interfaces for customizing spectral and spatial light output to an individual user are also disclosed. Lighting fixtures including table and floor lamps with adjustable spectral output designed to coordinate with the time of day and human circadian rhythms are described. Adjustable light distribution units that provide for both indirect lighting and task lighting that may be independently varied with respect to color so as to illuminate and facilitate circadian rhythm regulation are also disclosed.
